I'd like to help!

 

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Need to get HP connected for the 2nd time, from first buying it

Printing blank pages

My HP photosmart d110a printer just keeps printing blank pages with a line of random letters and symbols on the top line. After it prints that one page it will cycle through all the paper without printing anything just spitting them back out blank. HELP.

Printer status report looks perfect to me. Still cannot connect to print a document...not connect

My Printer status report and other reports look perfect to me. Still cannot connect to print a document. Error message is unable to connect to printer. During the set up the printer printed all of the pages documenting the setup printer status report printer configuration report all of them. Except the screen asking for PIN ... the box would not open to enter the pin (95781902).

So now that I've made some kind of a connection how can I get it to communicate with the PC and print documents.

Laptop is Acer Spin 15 Chromebook also running Linux & Android apps.

OJ Mobile Printer 250 AIO will not print. When you click "print" an error pops up on PC screen.

I had this printer for about 6 months or so. Want to use it mobily with Wi-Fi direct.  When I first got it had a heck of a time trying to get it to print. Got it working and manage to print about 20 pages. Stop printing became frustrated with it so I set it aside until now. Started it back up today and decided to use Wi-Fi network to connect and the same issue occurs.  I'm beginning to believe it's a "LEMON".  Connects to WI-FI fine but will not print. Throws up an error as soon as you press "Print".  I'm using Windows Surface Pro 6 connected to same Wi-Fi network as printer. Uninstall and Re-installed software 4 times no luck. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Failing to change HP ePrint email address

I know how to change the ePrint addresss on my new printer, but after a couple of issues with local network setup which required me to factory default the printer after having setup a memorable ePrint address, I can now no longer change the default assigned address to anything.  When trying to change the address, I get an error saying that the submitted address isn't valid (yes it is - no spaces, between 6 and 30 characters, alphas only), then I'm kicked out to the HP Smart account login page.

 

The printer is an HP Envy Pro 6420, firmware version is VASPLSPP1N001.2014B.00, and I have the same issue from the following clients:

Windows 10 Home / Firefox & Microsoft Edge

MacOS 10.15.6 / Firefox

IOS 13.6.1 / Safari

 

Web services are on and connected at the printer, and I can print by emailnig the (currently complex) default assigned address.  Can anyone help?

Resetting admin password

Hello!

I bought my printer second hand, and while setting it up it became apparent that I would need an admin username and password for various features. Quite a few of them appear to have been locked by the admin. I do not have access to these details, as the seller has forgotten what they changed them to. I attempted to restore the network defaults as advised, but this hasn't changed anything.

 

Is there a way to reset the admin details if you don't have access to them? I feel like I'm going around in circles.

I can't sign in to my HP account from a mobile phone through HP SMART. But from a laptop with windows 10 I can do it without any problems. I use a OnePlus Nord phone with Android 10. Before that I had Huawei P Smart 2019 with Android too 10 and I also couldn't log in.What should I do?

Have this issue everytime I change my Wifi Password

I have had this issue in the past and resolved it but I don't remember what I did to fix the issue.  Will not let me enter a password for either of my networks.  I have reset network settings.  I have not done a master reset to printer due to Instant Ink subscription.  Why can't it be easier to update the wifi password on these printers?   It really soursthe overall experience with HP Printers, I do not want to replace with another HP if updating my wifi password isn't more streamlined.  I do not have HP software installed on my PCs, just my android smart phone.  Thanks.

I'd like to help!

 

If you have completed the printer hardware setup and trying to connect the printer to the phone, try the below suggestions-

 

 Install the HP Smart app and set up the printer

Install the HP Smart app on a mobile device running Android OS 7.0 (Nougat) or later, Apple iOS 11 or later, or iPadOS.

  1. Go to 123.hp.com from a browser on your phone or tablet and install the HP Smart app.

  2. Make sure your mobile device is connected to your wireless network, and then open the HP Smart app.

You may refer to -Install and Use the HP Smart App 

 

Please try the steps below to connect your printer to the network.

-->On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wireless button and the Resume button together for three seconds. (When Wi-Fi Direct is turned on, the Wi-Fi Direct icon on the display stays on)  
--->On your computer or phone go to wifi and connect it to your printer 
--->Select your printer with DIRECT in the name from the list of available networks (example: DIRECT-74-HP Deskjet2600).
--->Select the Wi-Fi Direct printer signal in Wi-Fi settings 
--->If prompted for a password, type 12345678. This is the default password to log in.
--->Now open a browser and type 192.168.223.1
--->you will be able to access the printer's EWS page 
--->on the page, you will find network - click on it 
--->go to wireless and select wireless setup wizard
--->now select the network that you want your printer to connect to and type in the password 
--->the printer will have solid blue light if it's connected 
--->then connect your phone back to your network

 

Try and print.

This could be due to the connectivity or the drivers installed. Let us try to isolate and resolve the issue-

 

You may need to instead go into your router settings and try changing the channel manually. Experiment with different channels to see which one works best.

 

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor and run the program. It will automatically diagnose and fix any printer connectivity issues.

Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

 

Assign manual IP to the printer

The steps on how to set a manual IP address can be found here.

For the DNS servers please use 8.8.8.8 for the Manual Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 for the Alternate DNS server. These are Google’s public DNS servers

 

If the issue persists, I recommend you delete the driver and root level and retry, follow the steps below: 

  

1) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features 

2) Select your HP Printer 

3) Select Uninstall 

4) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers 

5) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’ 

6) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo. 

7) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe”

8). Click on the “Drivers” tab 

9) Look for the HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom 

10) Select Ok 

11) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows 

12) Close Devices and Printers.

 

Use this link to download and install the new driver. Configure the printer.

 

Add a TCP/IP port.

  1. Print a Network Configuration Report from the Printer Settings or Wireless menu.
  2. Right-click your printer, select Printer Properties, click the Ports tab and then click Add Port.
  3. Select Standard TCP/IP Port, and then click New Port.
  4. Follow the instructions to add a new port using the information listed on the Network Configuration Report.
  5. Try printing.

Once this works, I shall help you with printing from iOS devices.

The Deskjet 2600 does not support vinyl printing, refer to the specifications to know the supported paper type and size.
